URGENT INFORMATION UPDATE

Due to recent bad weather in the area at Bisley, many of the camping and shooting areas are currently saturated or under water. The organisers are adapting arrangements today and further information will be published via email and on the blog as soon as it becomes available.
Key thing for people to note is that FULL WATERPROOF GEAR will be needed for the field target shooting and potentially SPARE TRAINERS for use inside the Lord Roberts Centre if people's outdoor footwear becomes too muddy.
Please meet at the departure point in Haslington by 17:15 today so that I can pass on any further updates then. The convoy will leave at 17:30.
See you all later.
Andrew

Good Luck Shooters!

Good luck to our shooters for this coming weekend - that’s Adam Coleman, Jimmy Morris, Alex Sutton, Alex Whiteman, Sam Markert, Megan Brown, Sam Jones, George Lyall-Brookes and Tom Warren - who are all going down to Bisley in Surrey to take part in the Annual Scout National Air Rifle Championship Camp. They’ve been practising for months for this event and hopefully all that hard work will stand them in good stead and they’ll bring home some trophies!
Good Luck also to Ray [Leader] & Mark Warren [Tom’s Dad & a District Shooting Instructor] who are also shooting – just not in the Junior Section!!

1st SWC, 10th SWC & Fiennes 2012

The blog entries are starting from this weekend so watch this space. Feel free to comment. All entering have or are about to have their mandatory "Bisley Nicknames" allocated. These are not meant to offend - just a bit of harmless fun. If anyone does not like their nickname, come and see me, Doug or Andrew Brookes and we will reallocate a name that you really really won't like!! (Little joke, did you spot it)?
